One of my favourite Art Novuex Coffee shops on the Garden Route. The seating inside is cozy with so many health and beauty products all around you on shelves. Outdoor the front seating is fun with pillows and loungers and just great to relax with a family member or loved one after walking on the beach. The new backyard seating is eclectic and arty.

Such a lovely coffee place, with a very calm and soothing atmosphere.
Coffee was strong and intense, an Ethiopian blend but they also sell one from Nicaragua.
I had a berry smoothie with a yoghurt / fruit / muesli breakfast, all very good.
Definitely recommend!

It’s immediately obvious how much love has been poured into the decoration over the years.
They have a large selection of delicious looking baked goods, of which I had the brownie, and I can recommend it!
The service was friendly and prompt, and the lady working behind the counter was especially good! I could even hear her encouraging the rest of the staff which was great to hear.
I asked if they could make a cortado, to which they said of course, but I received a relatively weak cappuccino. So as for their coffee credentials I’m unfortunately unconvinced. Hence the 4 and not 5 stars.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the green Shed Coffee Roasters, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee filled the air, setting the perfect tone for what was to come.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the delectable pastries. They were incredibly fresh, with a delightful flakiness that melted in my mouth. Each bite was a testament to the bakery's commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
But what truly stole my heart was their homemade kombucha. It's not often that you find such a unique and refreshing beverage option. The kombucha was a harmonious blend of flavors, with just the right balance of sweetness and tanginess. It paired perfectly with my pastry and coffee cake selections.
The overall ambiance of Shake Coffee Roasters was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and savor these culinary delights. The friendly and knowledgeable staff added to the welcoming atmosphere, making my visit all the more enjoyable.
If you're a fan of fresh pastries, beautifully roasted coffee cakes, and unique beverages like homemade kombucha, Shake Coffee Roasters is a must-visit. It's a hidden gem that combines quality, flavor, and a passion for the craft of coffee and baked goods. I can't wait to return for another delightful experience.

Awesome experience to choose the beans for you coffee. Had the chocolate cheese cake, it was nice. Little garden is cute, grass maybe needs some cutting.

Very nice old-countryside-style coffee shop and coffee roasting store. The Americano coffee and latte is hot and nice. The croissant, chicken roll, and quiche are delicous. The old-style place is impressive and lovely. You feel that you are in an old coutry-side home environment, or in a museum. Reasonable prices. They sell many local-home-made food products. Very good place to sit, eat, relax, and enjoy the place in the center of Wilderness town. The owner lady is very energetic, welcome customers, and does most of the work. Staff are very friendly. It has sitting tables indoor and outdoor. Visiting this place if you are in visiting Wilderness/Sadgefield/Knysna area is highly recommended.

The place itself is pretty cool, but for a place that claims to be a coffee roaster it’s much more of a café.
They b only serve one blend for the espresso and it didn’t even taste good - they couldn’t pull a double espresso properly and it was character less.
I didn’t have any food except for some chocolate truffle balls which were ok.
The place itself is pretty cool to sit at and has a unique vibe, that’s why it’s a bit disappointing.
We are tourists in this town and we have received the most rude unwelcoming behaviour in this cafe. All of the pastries/muffins are on the front of the counter with tongs to pick them up and plates beside them. Self service one would assume!
But definitely not. The plate was snatched out of my hand by a blonde woman behind the till and she publicly shamed me for self service, stating there was signs everywhere, which she swiftly followed by picking up the only sign which had fallen down. Perhaps if it is self service then don’t leave everything out for self service and actually have the signage in place???
Will not be back or recommend to anyone.

How cute is this place!!?
I've been in Wilderness many times during my visits to this part of the Garde Route, and this was the first tune discovering this gem.
Absolutely loved the Boho Shabby chic Eclectic decour which is a visual feast from the time you walk in.
The homely sofas and central fireplace make a perfect spot for that cup of coffee and cake.
They have other pastries, pies, quiches etc. So breakfast and lunch are also totally an option. We had breakfast crossants with our coffees, and then the carrot cake, which was pretty special too.
They also have health /wellness products on offer (and make up part of the decour)
