I went up the Hitching Post in Muncie, IN, to see the TimePiece Band, a band who I think is excellent. There was only three things I liked about the place: the band, the food, and the decor. It was the crowd that was a turnoff for me. They were loud and drunk. One guy got on the dance floor and picked up a chair and swung it around. He later started to undo the belt he was wearing before somebody yelled out for security, and he had to be told to go to his circle. I thought he needed to be put in his corner. The dance floor was the smallest I have seen, and I couldn't take pictures or shoot a video, because I was afraid I would be bumped or knocked over. I took pictures from a safe location. I liked the decor, especially the saddles at the stage. The kitchen did not open until 6:30, and when we placed our order, we had to wait 45 minutes. I was afraid it would be cold when we got it, but when we got our food, it was hot. I ordered the Ham and Swiss Sandwich and Onion Rings, and Diet Coke. It was delicious. We danced for the slow songs, but not during the fast songs. We just sat and sang along with the songs. I love the TimePiece Band, and they are excellent. I am willing to see them again, just not in this location.
