Hard to rate the atmosphere since it's drive thru only. The coffee flavors are hit and miss though. Sometimes what I order is really good and other times I just dump it down the drain. But, the chocolate covered coffee beans are always on point and so are the poppy seed muffin tops. I got the largest oat latte sweetened with honey. It’s pretty tasty. The little bean on top is a nice little touch. Customer service very friendly. Will definitely be back to try other drink.

Today was my first time trying this place, and I was pleased surprised, the coffee is very good and not too sweet, I tried the Mexi Mocha which was great. The muffin top was also great. Highly recommend trying this place.

I really don’t like to give unpleasant reviews but I appreciate knowing what I’m getting into before I spend money and time so I feel I need to share. This may only pertain to “real” coffee drinkers who have experience outside of the area. This is the third time I’ve visited this location. The first one was okay and took care of my desire for a hot mocha but the other two times I asked if they could make a blended mocha with dark chocolate. The first time I wanted white chocolate added in to that and she said she could do it but she would have to make it herself instead of using their granita mix. It was pretty runny for my liking and not much coffee favor but it was doable. The second time I requested the blended mocha with dark chocolate and peanut butter. She said yes, we can do that but then came back and asked me to repeat what I wanted. I did and she said they didn’t have dark chocolate only Hersheys and I told her that was fine. This time it was very runny again, no coffee flavor and also no peanut butter. I don’t understand what the problem it but for $6.50-$7 a drink, they should be much better than they are. Sorry 😔 The people that work there do seem to be nice though so that is good.

I come here every single day & have never had a bad experience. They are always so sweet & quick no matter how busy. Today they gave me a rose for Mother’s Day, and it meant so much to me. You guys keep up the good work Barboursville is very lucky to have you all.

I absolutely love these coffee shops, if I had to choose between them all, I would choose Human Bean over them all. The bonus of pumpkin spice coffee year round is also a great option to keep me happy with them. If you haven't tried this shop out, I would highly recommend them. Not just for the coffee but for the smoothies, boba options (limited time item) and alot more.
