The Loopy Lemon Cafe is absolutely the perfect place to go for lunch, brunch or dinner!! Tonight’s dinner was SO delicious, my husband and I enjoyed every bite, and the cafe is just adorable! Everyone working was super sweet and upbeat, and knew just what to recommend! I had the steak salad with grilled steak, Burrata, red onions, cherry tomatoes, balsamic glaze, I ate every bite! I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great unique meal in Camden! Was looking for a good local spot for lunch on our way through town and The Loopy Lemon did not disappoint. We had egg drop soup as an appetizer - it hit the spot. Then we shared the veggie quesadilla with brussels as the side and the turkey, brie, and peach sandwich on sourdough with apple slaw as the side. Both entrees were on point. Veggies quesadilla was loaded with veg and good cheese. And the turkey sandwich was toasty, hot, and yummy! If I am being hyper critical on the does, I would say the apple slaw salad could use a little less dressing and the brussels need a little more crispy - but both were still good. We’ve eaten here several times inside and most recently as take out. It was great! The steak sandwich and chicken salad sandwich are our favorites. The hummus is fabulous too. The staff is super friendly, willing to make it just right for you, and personable. A great little local gem! Food was absolutely delicious, flavorful and filling. Such a cute and eclectic photographic atmosphere , a small town homey vibe, especially with the staff! The menu is always changing and is exciting wanting to keep me coming back for more. So excited to see dinner starting here to have another reason to come back again and again! But my favorite part of this quintessential Cafe are the homemade desserts! Oh my! My mouth is drooling thinking about them. You can tell they're made from scratch and with love! Unfortunately after all of the great things I have heard about the place, our experience was less than par to say the least. We were sat down briefly and the staff asked us to move for a six top. No problem of course we can move to accommodate. We were sat at our new table and the waitress walked away. We sat making our choices and waiting for the waitress to return. She never did the 6 top we moved for was already receiving drinks and ordering their meals. Meanwhile no one had returned to check on us. We wound up leaving before even ordering. I think your staff could use a bit more guidance in the importance of tending to every customer. (In response to your reply that is simply not true. No one had taken our drink orders. This was our second time giving this place a shot and unfortunately our experience was equally disappointing. The restaurant was once again out of the items we wanted to order, the menu was just as limited so there was nothing else appealing available, the waitress barely came to see us, and when she brought the drinks, she kinda throw them at the table and immediately left and never came back. I have read bad comments in here and the person that replies gets very defensive, and does not really offer a solution, and that’s not good customer service overall, you manage a small business so please take a deep breath and think before you reply, thank you. Let me start off by saying this place is the diamond in the rough. Camden SC has a lot of charm and great restaurants but this one seems to be the king of the hill at the moment. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was amazing. Had a greek gyro and some pablono cheese grits with bacon and eggs in it, they were both to die for. After that we grabbed three random deserts, a Lemmon cake, parfait, and chocolate tuxedo cake. All this for about $30. Everything from the decor to the food was good. Great little place to eat; solid 5 star spot in my books, one that we will be visiting often to add new images.

This place is so cute. Everything I've tried is delicious and the atmosphere and staff are simply charming. It's probably the best place for lunch downtown if not all of Camden. My only complaint is how short the hours are. They're open for just a few around lunchtime, and it fills up quick, especially on weekends. Still, if you can make it in, it's excellent. One thing that is exponential is consistency. This establishment lacks in this regard. My feeling is that they are just having a great time creating, but not really caring about the customer . I've had some great items, but reorder is not consistent. That's all. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
