The food looked amazing. But only got an iced coffee and iced chocolate. The iced chocolate wasn't terrible but nothing special at $12 as for the iced coffee, it was watery, the ice cream was melted then frozen solid to the bottom of the cup. Definitely over priced. This is what a $30.40 hash stack looked like once it was delivered to my house, absolutely disgusting! There was about 1 small mushroom in the sauce, half a “grilled” tomato (it was not grilled) And 4 cold soggy hash browns. Absolutely disappointed what a waste of $30!! Super nice little café. If you sit outside don't forget to at least take a gander inside as the interior is lovely with its huge flowered walls. The sandwich could have been a little fresher but for the most part was delicious, and friendly service. A little pricey but that might just be the nz economic climate so no points off for that. Second visit here to redeem after a disappointing first visit. Staff at the counter were taking our order of counter food, when we got to the 3rd item she walked away and got it immediately, then took the rest of the order. Two other items took 10 minutes to be brought out, wasn't asked but both items had been squashed in a sandwich press, didn't want that, it also made the bread very hard. Hash stack was pretty poor. Three deep fried hash browns, two small slices of bacon, some spinach and some mushrooms. Would say it did not make for the 25 bucks I paid.
