According to the guests' reviews, International dishes here are quite nice. This bar may please you with good salmon, ribeye and bacon. Take a break and order tasty bagels, waffles and French toasts. The whole impression won't be complete without wine that is delicious here. After a long working day, you can taste great white coffee, egg coffee or tea. The cosy atmosphere of The Porch makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. A lot of people point out that the staff is terrific here. The spectacular service is a big benefit of this place. Most reviewers highlight that prices are adequate for what you receive. But many clients who use Google didn't grant this spot a high rating.

A charming little restaurant in Waihi Beach that opens to serve breakfast, lunch & dinner. The menu is quite adequate, however i was a bit disappointed for not having a more seafood focused menu being a beachside town. Nevertheless the food served were tasty, fresh and portions were generous. We had the seafood basket, seafood chowder, the lambshank for two and a side of seasonal greens (which basically was a small bowl of baby spinach). As said earlier, the seafood were fresh and the chef paid respect to that. The lamb was soft and falling of the bone. Pretty hard to beat a cafe on the main street going the extra on the service plus a great indoor outdoor atmosphere. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Located next to Waihi Beach, tasty dishes and staff ok. My wife ordered a burger and it looked great, thick meat and generous fries came along. Chicken pie was also delicious, but not recommended for children, it was too spicy for them. My pesto pasta was awesome, good amount, well seasoned.

Not busy cafe, but good service. Food is not great, but Waihi is not a big township so we can’t expect anything fabulous!!

Our food was lovely! Massive plates! Tasted super fresh & would have got 5 stars if I was given a steak knife to eat with instead of a butter knife to cut my beautiful lamb!

Place wasn't busy but food took ages to come out. I ordered the chicken tenderloin sliders and was very surprised they had chicken nuggets in there. Apparently they had run out of tenders (not sure if they're usually just the freezer version or in fact the fresh chicken tenderloins I was expecting from a cafe/restaurant) staff apologised and offered a refund, had to go get something elsewhere. Very disappointed

Pork tacos were quite tasty, chips were fab but my mango smoothie had either had a pip go through the blender or someone brushed their golden retriever and dropped the fur into the cup. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Has coffee in the morning and popped back later that day for a beer. Service on both occasions was quick and pleasant. They serve organic coffee so that in mind if you are after a pick me up. Seating available both indoors and outdoors as well as a decent menu to choose from

Under new management and doing a fine job : ) There are a lot of choices for Vegetarians, Foodies and there's wine & beer too. The girls are chatty and cheerful. Great sunny spot. The Artists work is amazing on the walls and always great to see new pieces arriving. Tv & Fireplace for the winter too.

Horrible meal, waited 40min for a rushed prep . Put in our muesli and eggs Beni were over cooked ! Staff offered to re cook our meals but we were not hungry anymore after waiting so long with our coffees and getting this poor quality breakfast! Avoid if possible !
