Sports bar that is vaguely kid-friendly too, odd as that is. Strong and good priced drinks. Menu has all the usual suspects. Rattlesnake burger was good. Good for a quick bite. Reaper sauce was also a standout.
Good place for a quick bite and few drinks. The service is nice, self seating, and the food is pretty good. I definitely recommend the fried pickles 😋 about $45 for appetizer, 2 entrees and a couple drinks Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Fried Pickles
Visiting my brother in Lafayette and my Dad wanted a "good burger". Quick Google search found The Rusty Melon. Mission accomplished. Burgers were delicious. Fries crisp and hot. Cole slaw was fresh and not too sweet. I ordered the open faced green Chile cheeseburger. My brother wanted to send his back to get one too. LOL That said, he had no complaints about his BBQ Bacon Burger. And Dad was very happy with his choice too. Clean and quiet on a Monday at lunch. Food came quickly and our server was attentive and friendly. Worth a stop! Only complaint has nothing to do with the restaurant. The parking lot was designed for diminutive vehicles. Parking a full-sized pickup was a little challenging. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great bar food. Nice selection of beers. The locals here are really nice. The servers are very hospitable and will take time to chat a little. Great in forming relationships that brings you back. My go-to close to home! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Reaper Burger

The best jalapeño poppers I’ve found in the greater Denver area, if you’re into the simple fried ones not wrapped in bacon. The burgers are good but about 6” thick due to the huge bun so I’m not sure how anyone eats them like a burger. Surprisingly the pasta is very good, and the drink prices are relatively inexpensive. Overall a nice family friendly place with a large bar and friendly service. Taco Tuesday is a great deal too! Food and drink was fantastic and the staff was super friendly and helpful. My only thing is I don't like the "seat yourself" situation for busy restaurants. But that might also just be a me thing. 9/10 would do again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
First time eating here and will go back. We had our 3yr old granddaughter with us and she loved it here. We sat out on the patio. The food and drinks were great. Amber and the rest of the staff was friendly and quick. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was very good and the atmosphere is a cozy sports bar, everyone was friendly and we will definitely be back! The mac and cheese was very good, blue cheese and bacon burger was delish - and actually cooked to medium temp as requested! I got a side Caesar salad which was also very yum! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30
We had just landed in Denver. We’re driving to Estes park. Needed a place to eat and kill time for our Airbnb to get ready. We wanted some quick American casual. And landed upon the Rusty Melon. It had plenty of options from burgers, wings, sandwiches and pasta dishes. Plenty of cheap beers as well. Not the best quality food, but you don’t come here for that. More so quick fast and cheap beer. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30

We came in with a group of seven people to celebrate our friend’s birthday. When I asked for a table of seven, the hostess said we could sit whenever we wanted, so I asked if we could push two high top tables together in the bar. Another employee, Maggie, came over and loudly said “I HATE that idea.” So she suggested putting us at a low top table for 6 and squeezing in an extra chair for our seventh. Not only was it a short, tiny table but it was in a side room that was quiet and had zero ambiance. Since 5/7 of us are over 6 feet tall, we didn’t want to squeeze into a child’s table for 6. So I told her we would prefer to just sit at two separate high top tables in the bar. She said “ugh, FINE, we’ll just push them together”. I said no, it’s fine, we can sit at two separate tables. And she said “nope, we’ll just do this and disturb EVERYONE else.” She then was our server. Although she did get much nicer for the rest of our visit, she slammed our drinks down on the table and charged us for doubles that tasted like just mixer. We couldn’t even finish our margaritas because they tasted like straight roses lime, even after adding an extra shot of tequila. All of us are career bartenders so we do know a thing or two about how a drink should taste. The food was decent, nothing special. My partner really enjoyed his burger. As for atmosphere, we felt awkward and unwelcome the entire time due to Maggie’s greeting so we didn’t really enjoy ourselves. Definitely a terrible choice for a birthday dinner. Don’t recommend.
