At this restaurant you are paying for the view, so the price does not entirely match the service or food. We were a party of four meeting for Sunday brunch. The waiter explained all the drinks I asked about and when I made my selection he finally told me we could not drink until 11, the huge cinnamon roll was fairly bland, the Benedict entrée has two large hash browns instead of English muffin so you don’t get the texture difference you expect, and the omelette entree was pretty good. When the server brought out three of the four entree dishes we ordered and we had to wait 20 minutes for the fourth dish to show up the manager comped that dish and the chef sent out an apology dessert. We were there when they opened, but somehow our table was dirty when we sat down, which was a bit of a turn-off. Altogether a fine experience if you know you’re paying a premium for the location and the decor. I frequent the select probably 3 to 4 times a month, but have yet to do a review. I take my mother here as well as anybody new in town and they all speak so highly of this place. My best experience there was Sunday where I was blessed to have this amazing server named Jonathan. His vibe is infectious and it may not be everybody’s vibe, but I want him every time I come to the select! He made us feel welcomed, and just made the experience that much more memorable. The food here hands-down is probably one of the best in Sandy Springs. This is my first time experiencing brunch and I’m so excited to go back and try different things from the menu. I went safe and had the avocado toast, which was great. My date had the French onion soup, which is always on point and perfectly made. And then talk about the atmosphere…when you come during certain seasons, the ceiling changes to match. The Select will ALWAYS be my top choice for an amazing atmosphere, and even more incredible food. They do not miss. I went there last weekend for dinner with my friends to kick start off my birthday week. The greeter was nice and had me wait in the bar area since the rest of my party wasn't there and I was the first to arrive. The bar area is pretty and luckily they still had the Christmas decorations hanging from the ceiling. Once my party arrived we were immediately seated. The restaurant was extremely packed so make sure you reserve. The atmosphere was vibrant and loud, however, if you are not a fan of huge crowds or constantly having to say excuse me to move around the restaurant, like me, I recommend going there for lunch. Our server was amazing. He was attentive and gave us great recommendations of what to order since it was everyone's first time there. I ordered the roasted chicken and the food and zero proof drinks were great. The only thing I will say was that the French baguette we ordered was extremely hard and difficult to cut. We came for my mother in laws birthday at dinner. We initially sat outside however it began to rain so we moved inside. I love the vibe of the restaurant. However to sit in the garden room you have to make a reservation. The entire restaurant does not look like a garden as shown on social media. The food was good but it needed some extra seasoning. If you like very little seasoning then you will be fine, some people prefer it that way. If asked I would go back. The food was really good! The pasta Primavera was yum, the Lamb burger with French fries was a hit, and the Braised ribs were so tender and delicious 😋. The service was good as well. Such a great place for dinner! I started with some bread, and a Cesar salad, and then I got the roasted chicken, it was wonderful. It came with mashed potatoes, carrots, and got a side of Mac and cheese. The noodles for the Mac and cheese were so hearty. Topped the night off the a cocktail which was served in an adorable bird glass, and the tiramisu was A+++! My friends got the braised short rib, and butternut squash risotto and they raved about them! Try this place out!
