First of all I'd like to say this is a solid BBQ restaurant , definitely the best my wife and I have tasted in the 53 weeks of belonging to this beautiful county of Lincoln. The service is friendly and give off a positive vibe. The chef that is making all the magic happen is Shane. This man has some mad skills. Best I've tasted in the North Western parts of this great beautiful location. Awesome BBQ, a good selection of brews on tap, Blues playing throughout the restaurant, not too loud. A definite winner, and a much needed BBQ establishment in the Newport Oregon area. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food and just a great time. It's nestled in the woods off the beaten path with easy parking, a nearby dog park and disc golf. Kids allowed until 8 pm. BBQ was good and low priced. Loved the extra effort of the homemade sides and desserts. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love this new place. I'm from the South and this is the best BBQ I've had in Oregon. Everything is made from scratch! No freezer to fryer here. Their chef knows how to combine flavors to really highlight the meat as the main character. Don't miss the Cubano! And the quesadilla. Kids love both the classic burger and the Mac n cheese (w brisket!). Great portions too. Fantastic beer and cider list. It's a hidden gem with hiking nearby, so come check it out if you're sick of the regular crowded Newport places. If you're in Newport and want some BBQ this is the place to go. Everything from their fries to their sauce is made from scratch. They have amazing daily specials, a modest selection of beer and spirits to choose from, and the staff is always happy to give recommendations. The location is wonderful and provides a view of the forest in the backdrop. They frequently have live music for some extra entertainment. My wife had a burger for lunch, and suggested we try dinner. One server was running herself ragged, so there was a wait. The ribs were okay, and the brisket was tender, but I couldn't detect any seasoning rub on it. The side of beans tasted exactly like someone had opened a can of Heinz, or Van Camps Pork and Beans and poured them into a cup. The coleslaw was okay, and her fries were very good. My husband and I had such a great date night here! The fries were so fresh and we requested a vegetarian quesadilla, which we got! We were happy to see the owner from Arizona like us, so we were expecting great salsa and that’s what exactly what we got! Great service and great atmosphere… we will be back!! I'm so happy this place opened up in the area. It's a nice open plan, great energy from the crew, and a good selection of beer and BBQ. Ate here three times now..We've had the brisket, sausage, chopped brisket sandwich, kimchi, and asian slaw. All of their offerings have been outstanding. Its REAL bbq.
