Super fun place and great atmosphere. Sports bar for the family, good drinks, fresh food, great staff. All around amazing experience. Visiting family in the area and was hesitant to eat here because it sounded like it was just going to be bar food, but the menu is pretty good size and all the food was good. Will definitely be back when we are in town! I had the grilled wings with sweet and spicy sauce; highly recommend. In the last 6 months I've always ordered my steak well done, with no pink in the middle and no burst edges. No matter what I request the edges are burnt and the middle is pink. I know to be be safe a thermometer is used, so I would like to know what part is not understood or what hat needs to be addressed. My sides were good. To who or whom is not getting the message? I don’t really do reviews but this one truly deserved it. I came to Hays for work purposes and it was honestly a bad experience from traveling from PA to Kansas especially such a small town. Least to say that the travel day was not it and this cold weather hits differently. Got to the point where I didn’t even want to come back to Hays until my girlfriend and I decided to eat at thirsty and it truly made me want to come back just for the burgers. From the small town I come from they don’t make burgers unless you consider McDonalds and more fast food restaurants as burgers. I genuinely fell in love with the food and the place is truly great, loved the staffing and customer service. Visited Thirstys while we were in town for a wrestling tournament because of great reviews and we absolutely loved it! We travel a lot and this is the best burger (boom boom burger) that I’ve had in a small town in a while! I was totally addicted to the sweet potato waffle fries and special sauce. Lord help me. My husband also had an awesome steak- reminiscent of a steak house in Louisiana we both ate at in our younger years. Lastly, the service was wonderful! Great place to stop by during our road trip! After a seven hour drive across country, my wife and I decided to search for a nice local place. At 4.5 stars with over 1000 reviews, we decided to give it a shot. We ordered the Boom Boom burger and the Ghost pepper burger, they did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, they have a great atmosphere and they boast having over 20 beers on draft and although they do not have Alaskan Brewing Company beers, they have a great selection. Thank you very much for having us after such a long day. We definitely recommend! Price per person $10–20

Should change the name of this place to “Tasty’s” Wow! This place has an incredible selection of tasty food. I had the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger and fries! Homemade jalapeno cream cheese and raspberry sauce served with full garnish and your choice of one side. This was the 3rd time visiting this place and not only is the food tasty but the service and atmosphere are great as well!
