Absolutely loved Tia Tia. Incredible and friendly service, immaculately presented creative dishes, and overall a wonderful experience. Multiple vegan options were delicious and a testament to a talented chef. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Makes me want to return to Porto very soon and this restaurant. The atmosphere felt a bit strange at first with some eery music at times, sometimes not. We felt like we were in someone’s living room (no one wearing a uniform or at least an apron maybe) which is actually consistent with the experience we got, but not the price we paid. They only have one person in the kitchen, which doesn’t make any sense as we were around 30 pax during that service, and you could see most of the tables without food half of the time. We took all the dishes to share, except the fish of the day and the dessert, knowing they recommend 4 dishes for 2 persons, so that’s what we had (and sourdough bread). I do appreciate the fact they use local products, that the plating was nice, and taste wise, it was decent, but nothing amazing too. The problem was that each dish is like an appetizer or a small starter (with a twist), and also that the pricing is neither matching the portion or the products. What adds to the frustration is that you’re waiting 20min between each tiny dish that you will finish in 2min, and that doesn’t fill you up, and that you won’t even remember at the end of the meal. I rarely review negatively but have to say it was one of our worst experience in a restaurant. We spent 2h30, almost 100e (we also had one bottle of wine, one extra glass and sparkling water) and unfortunately our last night in Porto there. Many reviews are describing the exact same experience so maybe they don’t want to address these constructive feedbacks, and think they know better. Being from hospitality, I know how harsh it is. Do things right, or don’t do it. Meal type Dinner Price per person €45–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Well worth seeking out. Incredible vegetarian and fish dishes that got better each one we had. Highlight was the artichoke. Service was very friendly and attentive. It was slightly quiet / muted vibe but for the food, you can’t fault it if you want something different and prepared with skill and imagination. We had 4 dishes between 2. You probably wouldn’t want any less. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

What an amazing experience. You can see/smell/taste/feel/hear the owners’ passion for Portuguese cuisine. With each bite and sip, you’ll come to know their culinary circle. This is a must-visit for natural wine lovers— all wine is sourced from their friends’ vineyards. For in-season, mouthwatering dishes and Michelin Star service, you cannot miss Tia Tia. Obrigada. Until next time ❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €35–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a lunch! Sure the menu is not big and the prices seems bit high, but once you try the food you should change your mind. The tastes are amazing, as well as the service and friendliness of everybody there. Besides the food menu there is also a great wine menu and you can trust their recommendation. We wish only to have more time and try more of their amazing cuisine that they offer. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–35 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The outdoor patio was a really nice place to enjoy natural wine in sun. Had the cauliflower with coconut crème escabeche and the cheese plate sampler along with a very refreshing red wine. The staff was very pleasant and helpful in describing tasting notes for wine. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €20–25
The food is great and the place and staff is nothing short of lovely. The wines are incredibly weird in taste though. They are from a particular type of organic/biological kind but I don't think I enjoyed a single glass and we bought at least three different bottles. There's so many wonderful "normal" portuguese wines, I'd easily add a few options to the menu. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came here for dinner and loved the location. It’s really well set up with a cool patio/outside area full of plants and good vibes. There were some gluten- and dairyfree options (small menu though). The kitchen looked super clean and nice and the food is minimalistic and creative. Our favorite was the Japanese egg yolk dish. Great selection of natural wines. Only downside was that we had to wait a tiny bit too long in between dishes. Was maybe just one of these days. Still a great recommendation and has all the potential to be super busy soon! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

AMAZING! Following a Conde Nast Traveler recommendation, we had a Saturday night dinner at Tia Tia. Food has been second to none. Creative dishes, complex flavors and lovely service. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Porto. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
