I was extremely excited to eat here and oh boy was I disappointed. We ordered the smoked wings and they super dry, brisket fries were ok nothing special, brisket cheeses steak was ok as well the sauce tasted weird cant even describe it and the burger was absolutely flavorless (not sure how one can screw up a burger) the only positive thing is that our waitress was nice. I will definitely not going to be coming back. Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Onion Rings
Great local spot to hangout and watch Philly Sports games. Food is excellent here, especially the BBQ out of the smoker, wing dings, brisket fries, and cheesesteak. The staff is very friendly here. Bartender/ Server Amy makes great cocktails and Green tea shots; provides great service every time. Highly recommend this place and would be back again! Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Smoked Sampler Platter
Ordered online. And picked up. Ordered different items so everyone could pick some from each. Did the Sampler (ribs, brisket, wings), pulled pork 1/2 lb, brisket combo, chicken Caesar salad. Got home everything was there. But everything was cold. Pulled pork was Luke warm. Thus was our first time trying this place out and will be the last. For the amount of food we got and how cold the stuff was. Hubby wasn't too pleased. 😢 sad cause I w thought this would be great it's only BBQ place near me except Mission which sucks in my opinion. Sad experience Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Onion Rings

Inside it was dark, and nearly all the seating was at the bar. "There are tables outside, and the tables at the side are covered." This was true. The outside tables at the side are well protected, and there's plenty of room there. But we came not for the tables but for the barbecue. It was excellent. We started with the Brisket Fiesta Potatoes, just to have something to start with. My wife exclaimed, "If I had known how good this was, I would have ordered this for my meal!" They were really delicious. I think they're available on a weekly rotation or so, so we're going to check to see if they're available before we come again. We each ordered the sampler, with different sides: : my onion rings were spectacular, the beans very good. Of the meats in the sampler, the brisket was wonderful, the pulled pork very very good, the ribs were not the baby back ribs I'm used to, but Saint Louis style, very meaty, though also fatty. Of the smoked chicken wings? Well I have two of the three left, maybe for lunch today, but they disappointed us a little bit. The beer selection was very good, the popular standards as well as a large number of craft brews. In slightly warmer weather, there would have been nothing bad about that night, except it may be we didn't need the appetizer once we saw how much was on the samplers. We're looking forward to going again, and again. And my friends want to go too, now.
I have been coming to this place for years....I think at this point I spent somewhere in the thousands at this place... Love the staff, service atmosphere and the food so amazing... Never had an issue until tonight, the bartender that was working tonight was very rude, start being loud to a point where she was screaming at me .... I don't know if she is new, I just sow her there just once before, same thing attitude and all but I ignored it... But tonight I told her who she thinks she is talking to like that, especially in this line of work.... Very disappointed was no manager on site to address the issue.. and even other staff there confirmed that unfortunately she gets like that... I want to say thank you to the "owner" for replying to my post in a timely manner and hope what happened last night will be addressed... But unfortunately I will not be a Tin Pan Alley fan no more... I am in my 40's, traveled the world, lived in few countries and never had someone disrespect me like that. .. Even though I never wrote a review before, I recommend this place Highly to all my friends, coworkers... My kids loved sitting outside there in summer time and eat those loaded fries... 😞 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve seen the smoker going often on my way past this place so I finally decided to try it out. So would I go back? ……. (Sorry gotta read entire review) So why 3 stars? Well for one it’s odd for a bar that has beers on tap to not offer tastings, it’s always par for the course whether you’re a brewery, bar or pub. Like I get it people shouldn’t abuse it but this is how customers try new things. And If someone doesn’t like a beer they make take their time drinking it which means less sales. I know I normally have a beer or 2 with my meal but without being able to try one I chose not to get anything and we went somewhere after. The shrimp basket wasn’t the sexiest looking nor great. It was adequate at best not something amazing. Now on to why you’d come here, the BBQ. The pork in my opinion was probably not freshly made today and had a lot of liquid to it . The chicken wings were overcooked, the onion rings were okay but weren’t great. The ribs were good but I wouldn’t be coming back for them as they were a bit overcooked, not a lot but a bit. The best part of the visit was brisket, it tasted like it was made today had a great taste to it and the only reason I’d consider going back would be for the brisket. It was a lean cut and not fatty which is my personal preference. The food was modestly priced and a good value, but would be an amazing value if it weren’t for what I mentioned. I personally wouldn’t go back, I like to try new beers but also don’t wanna order a whole beer if it’s gonna be awful which doesn’t take much to figure that out. I’ve found some amazing beers I would have never bought if I didn’t try it first. While the brisket was really good, the rest of the food was just meh and as such I’d rather try somewhere else. Price per person $10–20
I'm originally from Philly but live a couples hours away now. While coordinating renovations for my place of employment, I bonded with a contractor once I heard his accent and we got to talking about the city. After telling him I went to FKD High, he asked me if I like BBQ and he told me about Tin Pan Alley being owned by a FKD alum. He said he was a pretty regular customer and the BBQ was great. It immediately went on my 'Want To Go' list in Google Maps! After visiting some old friends in the city today, I had the opportunity to stop for dinner. It. Was. Amazing! We tried the rib eye cheesesteak (next time getting xtra meat and cheese), the roast beef sandwich, and the brisket fries. Everything was soooo good! I especially liked the white cherry pepper BBQ sauce. The hint of heat after your about 5 or 6 bites in, is unexpected, because your 5 or 6 bites in, but it was just right. Really delicious! The prices were good too. The waitress was great! Kind and helpful. Thank you again! I'll be back! We Are The Champions! 🔴🔵🟡 Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Brisket Fries
First time there and the bartenders were awful. So rude. Didn’t acknowledge me for ten mins. Said she would be back and never came back. Other bartender served us. Asked for the check and waited another 15 mins. When I finally got it she got in my face when I never spoke to her before that point. Created a whole scene for no reason. I left respectfully because I’m too grown for that. I’ll never go back there again. Also tried to order food and was told they were only making fried food. I couldn’t have the grilled chicken wrap I wanted. I could only have the fried chicken wrap lol Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Waitress was awesome and attentive. However, the food was just not good. The meat (brisket, pulled pork, ribs) was room temperature when it came out. The bbq sauce tastes like ketchup. The smoked wings and the cocktails were decent but definitely not enough to come back. Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Bar/Grille at the bottom of the hill to Bryn Athyn, Tin Pan Alley operates out of a quaint old building and makes the very best of it. Different spins on traditional bar grub keeps the menu interesting, not to mention they smoke meat and BBQ. Tons of beers on tap. Good combination for a local favorite.
