I used to come here. Decided since I was near by I would bring my daughter to try it. For a breakfast burrito and a stack of pancakes it was 17.71 :( I'm a single mom so that was kind of a dent for me. They gave us someone else's order on accident. So my burrito had the wrong meat choice. But I didn't complain because it happens. They should do numbers to orders so this doesn't happen. I'll probably come back because their breakfast burritos are good, I like having hashbrowns in them and they put a lot. They also still give ice cream which was what I always remembered Tom's for! But I'll be careful with what I order in the future because 17 just for a burrito and 2 pancakes is too much for me. I came to order just a salad and a side of fries. And total came out to 24.41 I asked for my receipt 4 times and she wouldn’t provide it and I honestly think she over charged me. I didn’t ask for any extras but as I can see it’s very slow for them so they are trying to over charge other customers to make their money it’s not cool and and receipt she provided doesn’t even have the total she wrote it in BEware as you would be overcharged Update 4pm salad was disgusting the chicken had a foul smell and after taste. I truly love Tom’s !! I think it gives an old-school diner, vibe and look!! The food and the people operating it are amazing. This place has so much potential, especially being on one of the busiest streets in the whole city. I would hope to look forward to some type of exterior and interior remodel, hoping to keep that old diner look I would recommend people to come here on the days that they are actually open and unfortunately there are days throughout the week that they are randomly closed and are definitely losing business because customers are ready but they are not open . The food was good. The entire menu board has all prices removed. My party ordered the $11.99 harvest breakfast special that is advertised on the window. The website menu lists it under $10 but the new price is on the window so I'm ok with it. After I got rang up I notice I paid $37 for 2 $12 meals a coffee and small soft drink. If you change your prices take down the old signs. Bait and switch twice between the website, the window and the register... 2 other customers complained about the same issue while I was eating. We really enjoyed our experience. We ordered and ate in the dining room. This business is a 2 person show and they were killing it handling drive and walk!! They were both so sweet and the food was delicious and fresh! Sure, it took a bit to get our order BUT I’d rather wait and enjoy fresh food. They also gave us free ice cream cones. The lady there was sweet & great customer service. HOWEVER, I ordered carne asada fries and was asked if I wanted cheese, avocado, and sour cream.. something you expect to come on carne asada fries and said yes through the drive through. And avocado, I can understand an extra charge. She tells me $25 just for the asada fries and medium drink. I’m already in the drive thru line, I’m going through it .. I’m committed.. so I say okay. I also ordered a club sandwich, she said it’s “a La carte”, so I order a small fry. I’ve never heard a burger spot say A LA CARTE??? I pay $45 dollars. I get home and see they charged two times for cheese, two times for avocado and two times for sour cream.. I’m annoyed. We eat the food, I’m more annoyed. The club sandwich looked and tasted like a hospital sandwich. The asada fries.. lacked flavor, hardly any cheese even after being charged double, and a HUGE disappointment after hearing that alone with a drink was $25. Like I mentioned, the lady was super sweet but don’t let yourself get robbed. I legit feel like an idiot. I’ll never hear the end of this one from my boyfriend about the time I spent almost $50 on dinner from that one spot toms that played me. It's a rainy day so we stopped in for some yummy warm food. We weren't disappointed! The only thing we didn't like is that we were the only patrons. Please give them your business. Family feel, fresh food, nice people. Will go again!

Bidenflation did a number on this place, like everywhere else. People still aren't used to the radical prices, but they are comparable everywhere; so take the price complaints with a grain of salt... the prices are what they are. I don't know if it's an elderly couple or just 2 separate people, but I thought it was still cute and admirable that they're still running around keeping this business going. The food is good and classic, the portions are good. The wait time can be a hassle, depending on how busy it is or what you order... but I've waited 30+ minutes at freaking McDonald's here, so... I've been coming here for years! Everytime the prices get higher. My fiancee has spent hundreds of dollars here over the last 5 years. They price gouge like crazy. Tonight I bought 1 chili burger, I small cup of water. Came to 15 dollars. This is the last time you'll get money out of me. What a shame.
