If you have never come across Vietnamese cuisine, you should reserve a table at this restaurant. Topo Restaurant might be recommended for tasty chicken dumplings, chicken & dumplings and Bbq pork. Taste good crème brûlée, bread pudding and banana pudding. A lot of visitors order delicious wine. Here you can drink great bubble tea, vietnamese coffee or ice tea. At this place, you can order food as a takeaway. The high ratings of this spot would be impossible without the professional staff. Fine service is something clients agree upon here. Guests of this restaurant say that they found prices democratic. You will definitely like the pleasant atmosphere and nice decor. Topo Restaurant is rated on Google 4.4 by its visitors.

Lemon grass steamed dumplings were great! Pho broth was amazing, asked for the rare beef pho, it was not rare! Beef tasted old. Booths were dated and need a revamp. Service was lackadaisical. My first ever time eating Vietnamese food. I ordered the rare beef pho. And chicken dumplings. Both were very tasty and the sauce that came with the dumplings was so oddly flavorful. I couldn't put my finger on what it was but it was delicious. The pho was great. The broth was full and the beef was perfectly cooked. I couldn't finish it It was such a large portion for the price, a rarity in these times. And i can LITERALLY kill a whole pizza on my own. The topo tea was delicious as well. I wish I got like 5 refills to take home Lee is an incredibly good owner/operator /manager. The service is literally bar none. His son V showed me the proper way to use chop sticks (i was struggling on small things) but I aint no wimp. Use a fork if you're weak The atmosphere is calm. The bathrooms are spotless, my one and only complaint was the music. Flo Rida was playing and that made me want to unalive, but that's not anything topo is responsible for. 10/10 and a must try for anyone in the area. Delicious!! I ate the Vietnamese chicken to the bones. It was very flavorful, filling, and a big portion. Definitely worth it, the server was nice, the decoration was nice, and the music is gettin me more excited for Christmas!! Looking forward to tryout the other dishes Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Grilled Chicken
Nice little restaurant in the heart of Hackettstown! The Taro fries were delicious (the sauce is so good), tasty bubble tea, miso soup was yummy, and all our meals were great. Also found it fun that you can refill your water right from the table; wish more restaurants did this. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I’ve been coming to Topo (and Pandan Room) for a few years now and always enjoy my visits. The vegan yellow curry soup bowl is consistently very tasty and filling! I like the number of dishes that can be made vegan upon request. There are definitely more vegan options at Pandan Room (the sister restaurant up the street), but there are still good options here. Today the service was a little slow, but generally it’s been good. Overall I really enjoy it here and will continue to come :) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
I hate giving bad reviews but I can’t recommend this restaurant. I was in the area and have heard good things so decided to give it a shot. Both of our dishes were extremely bland including the pho (the pho stock at target has more flavor). There was a SPIDER in the noodles which were very dry and no hoisin came with it. My grilled chicken was flavorless and very dry. It didn’t taste like Vietnamese style grilled chicken at all. It tasted more like those pre made grilled chicken strips that you get at the grocery store. If you are within a reasonable commute to Parsippany, there are wonderful Vietnamese options. I had high expectations for Topo but unfortunately I won’t be returning. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
I ordered your foods for the first time and already not a fan of your food. We got 2 pho noodles 2 Vietnamese crepes. None of them tasted authentic… The Vietnamese crepe should not be super thick like american pancakes! Whatever you tried to sell was not a real Vietnamese crepe!! The smell of the crepe from your restaurant did give me a headache. How should I put this,…some strong indian curry spice mixed in your Veitnamese thick fluffy pancakes?? Yicks!! Tremendous. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were more than generous for an extremely reasonable price! Absolutely will be coming back to try the rest of the menu! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

TOPO(the old post office) is a delicious spot to eat at. Entering the restaurant the vibe was diner like which was homey to NJ. When we were seated the waitress scrubbed our table which felt clean until it got sticky. I just wish it was a bit more smooth. Ordering drinks was good but warning no free refills. I got water, and you can actually get it at the table. They have a small spout which I find handy. We ordered the Topo sampler as an app which consisted of egg rolls, spring rolls, tarp egg loaf and dumplings. The sauces complemented the app very well and would order again. As an entree I ordered the Shrimp Clay Pot which was very fresh with all the vegetables. The shrimp and glass noodles were very hot, temperature wise. While that was cooling off I put the sauce on the side of rice for taste. Absolutely amazing, it was not greasy and caramelized very nice. I wish the Clay Pot dish was served in a Clay Pot. The metal pot was very aesthetic tho. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate rum cake but the waitress served us the crème brûlée. She must’ve forgot, since she was the only waitress. The crème brûlée wasn’t typical tho. The top didn’t crack like glass and the inside was not like a flan but more of a custard. It was good otherwise. We also ordered the strawberry sticky rice too. This dessert was good since there was not too much sugar. Seeing pink rice was surprising. While we were waiting for the check, my seats were moving tho. The next table over was getting out and pushed the whole seat. The seats are not grounded to the floor. It would be nice next time if they were grounded. Overall the experience was good and would come back next time I am in Hackettstown Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
Just left this place and I'll definitely be back! Waitress was friendly and funny! The food was excellent! Brisket ramen, Clay pot with pork, yellow rice curry with chicken and rolls assortment. Plus I tried both coffees- nice!
