Excellent option for for a proper breakfast. With so many amazing food choices in Malta, we would return here any day! Although very busy this Saturday morning, they were able to seat us very quickly. The food did take some time to come out of the kitchen due to the full tables, but the coffee came quickly and was very well prepared. Our breakfast dishes were unexpectedly delicious with a unique combination of flavors that combined Mediterranean and Western styles. Some of the best sourdough toast I’ve had in a while. Superb brunch place. The pun-tastic menu has so many amazing options on it that it was a real struggle to pick what to eat and everything we had was superb. It’s a great spot for people-watching too with a good amount of outdoor sunny and shaded tables. Staff are charming. I went there for breakfast 3 times:) Once I ate an avocado toast, it was so good that I did not take the picture :) although the bread was super hard to eat, it was so so dry (fried), that it was very hard to cut or bite. The service was super fast and efficient! Another time, I went with my daughter; she took the pancake and I took “her royal breakfast”. Both of the dishes were really good and tasty! The service was super slow and even for the check it took about 10 minutes. Last time we went with my husband and daughter. She took the pancakes (it was good); he took “his royal breakfast” - he did not like any part of it :( I took “her royal breakfast” - it was good, but not as good as the first time. My husband told me that the fish did not smell fine, I did not feel it, so I ate everything and was fine! However, in his opinion it was not good to eat. Service again took quite some time, even for the check. Probably they do not have enough services to serve all the tables with proper timing! They have plenty of sweet pancake options that for me look way too sweet (by looking at other peoples plates). I would recommend to give this place a try! The atmosphere is unique and interesting! The staff is on fire (again I think they do not have enough staff on weekends); it is interesting place to visit for sure! I read very good reviews about the place and we decided to visit it for breakfast while in Valletta. It definetely lived up to the expectations. The place is in a great location, next to the royal opera house site. There are the options to sit both outside and inside (actually the inside is huge and nicely decorated). The staff was very friendly -the day we visited it was the first day they launched a QR code online menu ordering system and they were kind enough to explain the process and verify that they received the correct order via the online system. All the food we had was delicious and fresh. I absolutely recommend the pistachio croissant -one of the best I ever tried. The prices were good as well. I think it worths a visit while in the city. We ordered a pistachio croissant to take away. The service staff were exceedingly friendly and the croissant was next level delicious. It was lovingly arranged and decorated. The pistachio cream filling was very tasty, the croissant light and flaky. To make it even better they heated it up. The restaurant also looks quite cosy - if we had more time we would have loved to try a sit-down meal there. Would definitely recommend! Stylish place in the very centre of Valletta. Great spot for breakfast. We've had 2 types of fluffy pancakes there and they were equally good, but a bit dry for my taste. More fruit or some sort of fresh jam/sauce would do a difference. Next time I would probably choose something else from the quite extensive menu.
