One of the best place in San Diego for filipino foods. The pandesal is hot and the tapsilog was amazing. They're friendly and serve you with a smile.

A sunny place in every way, the pastry filled with chicken and something else is absolutely worthy of a stop, with a view over a beautiful selection of white and blue birthday cakes.

Great service!!! They delivered under pressure and my team loved the cake. I definitely look forward to doing more business with them. Than you Trining’s.
We’d bring pandesal for family meals but the parents kept saying we should check this place out and skip on Bread Deluxe (nothing wrong with it, just not as good). And they were right, what took us so long? The best pandesal in San Diego. The turon is great too.
First batch of Pandesal is ready at 7:45am!! Get ‘em fresh out the oven, heaven on earth 🤤
Go to spot when we're in town for pandasal. Have to pick up bags for our relatives in NCAL every time we visit SD.

Nice small pleasant little hole in the wall that is a bakery and also sells food. They had 9 items to choose from made previously in the morning. It was already 1230 and they did not add fresh food so it was pretty much choose what's left. The veggies I had where not over cooked and where flavorful. The chicken was a little tough and greasy but overall not a bad eating experience. Take out only no outside eating.

I only trust Gemmae’s Bakeshop for Filipino breads, cakes and Pastries. They also have delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always fresh, because they only bake and cook on small batches. Their pandesal is the best in San Diego. It is a must-try. I buy 4 packs at once since they always run out, will freeze them and tastes freshly baked after defrosting. The owner, Josie is very friendly and accommodating on whatever request i have. Karen, one of the salespersons is also great. They even know the names of their customers - they serve with a personal touch! Thanks Josie and Karen! See you this weekend!

The best Filipino pan de sal in South San Diego. 7:45 am, nice warm in paperbag, is best time after some walk. Feel nostalgic waking up early to walk next door and the aroma of freshly baked plain bread back in Las Pinas. And we did had our own Antipolo, Rizal then. It's like being in the Philippines. This South San Diego specifically National City is second home for us. The Best weather, (like Baguio city or Tagaytay with little hills) since my east coast years, with mostly predominantly Filipino environment. I also get the ube macapuno cheese ensaymada. I also buy the Filipino cheezy bar. Thank God for this part of his plan in our unplanned destination. He knows best.
The Pan de Sal is absolutely the best this side of the pacific! The chicken afritata is wonderful, as well. I once sent 12 bags of Pan de Sal to my sister in law, in Louisiana via USPS. Needless to say, she loves me and I'm sure I'm on her Christmas list forever!!😆😆😆. There are much much more bakery products there to enjoy, so go visit and enjoy!!
