Great and friendly staff. Fish and chips were a little blend, but the pulled pork burger and open steak sandwich was excellent. Roasted garden salad was refreshing.

Visited a few months ago to watch the Ireland VS All Black rugby match. Coffee was excellent and just what I need for a pick me up in the morning! Staff are very friendly too and it was overall an enjoyable place.

Just had the a quick meal. Two of us has the scallop entree and one the fish with a salad. Thank you chef, we all loved our meals especially the scallop dish. Yum. Great food, prawn and scallops recommended. Bright and cheery service, airy dining area. Good menu, decent drinks selection. Nice views over the lake. Runs towards capacity so booking recommended especially around 7pm, but we walked in twice without a problem.. Both the lamb and fish of the day were delicious. There were bluff oysters but they came in half a dozen orders. I would have liked to just try a couple. All of the food was cooked well, it was just a little bland. Had the fish goujons, which were fried well, but the tartar sauce was below average, the prawns could have used a lot more garlic and salt, and a lot less butter, the ribs fell off the bone, but the sauce needed more zing. The kids meal of chicken tenders was good, and the chips were great. The salad dressing needed an acid. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
