The best BBQ in San Diego. No other BBQ restaurant I've been to is anywhere near this good. Definitely worth the beautiful drive. I would highly recommend this anyone craving actual good BBQ.

Sunday drive thru the east country mountains and google were to eat, and stop at the Tuggamomma Smokehouse.
The food it's great recommend the ribs, better than those near the sports arena..
The lady that took our order real friendly, nice, and made us feel like home.

The barbeque here is amazing! The brisket, pork ribs, mac and cheese, BBQ beans, and the meat & mash are unbelievable. The flavors they create are second to none. The meats are crazy fall off the bone tender. Even the mac & cheese has some secret spices in it to make unique and the best I've ever had anywhere, sorry Grandma. I hope you like food because these portions aren't petite and you'll be glad they aren't.
If you haven't explored Campo yet then Tuggamomma is definitely a reason to go! I went to the train museum and then grabbed one of the best lunches anywhere in San Diego county!
