I recently had the pleasure of eating at Twisted Sweets & Savory in Herndon and I must say their name was ALL THAT and just an absolute delight! The cinnamon chimney with both vanilla🍦and chocolate🍫 ice cream 🍨 flavors were incredibly delicious, boasting the perfect balance of sweetness and creamy texture with the perfect flaky crust with cinnamon and sugar 🤤 But the true star of the show was the Italian sandwich. It was hands down one of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had in my life! The crunch of the fresh veggies paired with the savory meats and just the right amount of bread made for a not watering experience that I won't soon forget. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the service was quick and top notch. The owners are very friendly and pleasant and you can tell they put their heart ❤️ into this place. I think there should be one of these in every town & state hands down. If the rest of the world only knew what this tastes like and how good this place was... An absolute Gem 💎 this place is, I'm not exaggerating. The bread is reminiscent of a great pretzel but stretched out thin. It’s buttery and flaky on the outside but still has a chew to it. The toppings were fresh and tasted like the lettuce had just been washed and tomatoes just sliced. The portions are generous and half a sandwich is more than enough to fill you.
