Homesteader Museum is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this confectionary restaurant after long walks. That's a nice idea to order tasty breakfast bagels, bagel sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. A lot of guests have noticed that pancakes here are good. Great latte, tea or moccachino will make your meal even more delicious and you'll surely come back. Uncommon Grounds is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices at this place claim to be average. Close to half of the staff that works here is nice and efficient. The prices are reasonable (for a coffee shop) and the selection is usually good. I'm a very regular customer and most of the staff, with only a few exceptions, knows me by name. Unfortunately due to a recent turnover, most of the genuinely friendlier members of the staff have left. At times it's hard to get past the feeling that the ones taking your hard-earned money even care if they witnessed you turn into vapor (not helpful when you actually hear one of them say that they don't care about people). If they hire a few people with bigger hearts, it will possibly improve, which would be nice again. One barista just has been cold to me from her first day and I just don't understand why. I have trouble walking longer distances otherwise the shop up a few blocks is a good alternative when wanting more friendliness. A great place to stop in Powell. We grabbed a bagel sandwich and a wrap and both were light and tasty but still filling. They also have a nice selection of coffee and assorted coffee drinks as well as smoothies in a cozy environment. It was a perfect place for us to eat, drink, and spread out the hiking map on a table and get ready for our next adventure. Solid WiFi was a plus!

So happy to have found this wonderful coffee shop within walking distance of my apartment. My latte was perfect and the scone was amazing! This will be a daily habit.
