This place is great. Great staff, excellent service! When you order extra sauce, they add so much extra sauce that it looks like they drowned your pasta in blood, but that is a pro because this sauce is AMAZING. I’ve been working close by for a little over a year now and I just recently ordered from University Pizza. Now I am addicted to their grilled chicken salad! A friend and I had lunch here. She had a salad with a generous amount of chicken salad and me an eggplant parm with ziti dinner. Both were delicious! The atmosphere was what you'd expect of a pizza/sub/salad restaurant near a university. A bunch of tables with chairs. I will return for another eggplant dinner or sub. This is the worst service ever! Called and ordered 30 minutes before arriving after I was told it would be 15 minutes. When I arrived they had only taken some of my order over the phone and they "rushed " the forgotten portion with a slight apology. While we were waiting the owner seemed to come out into the kitchen and didn't seem to notice the staff struggling to keep up or offer any help. It took another 25 minutes to get my rushed food ! This is unacceptable service, and we will not be returning for mediocre food at best. After paying another person checking out received the wrong order and received argument from the woman behind the counter. Came here on a Sunday at 4pm. Small pepperoni pizza was my order and it was ready quickly and was delicious. No complaints about my experience!

Worst meatball sub EVER! Don't waste your money or your hopes on this place. Ordered extra cheese, there was NO cheese, needed a microscope to see the cheese. The bread was stale. The meatballs were yuck. Sauce was just tomato, no herbs, nothing! Total disappointment!!!!...
