Our experience here was a very pleasant one. The staff was incredibly friendly and competent. Even though it was busy, my wife and I got seated at the bar and had excellent service. We did wait a little while for our food, but it was well worth it (and we already knew it was busy). My wife will easily say that their burger is the best burger she has ever had in her life. No exaggeration. The atmosphere was very pleasant and extremely comfortable. They definitely put the emphasis on Maine, and had it in the little details as well. I was able to try some Maine-made hot sauces that were excellent. And some original Maine-made soft drinks were available on the menu. The prices were very reasonable. Especially considering that I only ate half of my enchilada order before needing to be done. They were filling and delicious. Wonderful service and atmosphere! Cathy's attention to detail is outstanding. Myself and friends have gone to enjoy dinner quite a few times recently, we hadn't been back for some time, and we were presently surprised. Cathy who tends bar and services the pub area has gone above and beyond each visit! She was very accommodating when it came to our children and little detail of our meal. Uno Mas -one more, which was the feeling with everything we ate there. From Margaritas to Baja fish tacos (fried fresh haddock with pineapple salsa). The service is genuine, warm, and accommodating. Being from California and loving Mexican food, Uno Mas did not disappoint. The experience leaves you with the thought of going back again-uno mas. The service would have been a lot better if the waitress had listened more and talked less. Our starter, we ordered taquitos with both sauce options, only got one. No big deal. He ordered haystack steak, well done, with fries, no sauce. He got haystack steak with rice and sauce. Sent it back. He got haystack steak with rice, no sauce, medium. By the time he received his fries, we were both done eating. My entree was shrimp fajitas. They were fairly good. As for the food/menu options... this is just a suggestion, but we both feel the sauteed peppers and onions would have been great with the steak instead of the fajitas and the fried, crispy onions would have been best served with the fajitas. Very hospitable and the smell of fresh citrus was great in the air. Had one of the most unique beers I've ever had as well as some other local brews. Food was good just wish there was more bang for the buck. Tacos could use a little more sauce/fat.

An update based on a bad owner's response : The owner's attempt to justify no credit cards is the charges are too high?!? In his example, $27k of cc charges would be on $900k of income!!!! How much profit is enough after expenses? And with an average bill of $40 per person, no one will stop coming to a good food place if the price jumps to $41.30 to cover the convenience of using a cc. $1.30 is the cost difference!!!! Most ATM charges are more than $1.30 to get cash to then give to an unethical business practices you seem to embrace. It is NOT about points, as you continue to fail to understand the issue. You cost people more due to cash only and then forcing your staff to state each night. " oh, the credit card machine is broken tonight". Lieing to customers is OK as well to you? Be aware before consider stopping into this restaurant!!!! Cash only since this summer. Get your credit card machine working or is this your way to avoid cc charges? Absolutely amazing experience. The chips are homemade fresh cut, ingredients tasted fresh and of high quality. Food was presented nicely and in a timely fashion. Great beer and drink selections. All at fair prices. Thumbs up.

The taco selection blew my mind. I forgot I was in Maine. We ate everything. No left overs despite the generous portions. Wish chips were compped but still a good value and amazing menu.
