I have only recently been visiting the post. I love it. I love the philanthropy that they do. I love that it is open to the public and you can bring your family for a great meal. I have eaten lunch and dinner a number of times and it was delicious. I know that they are understaffed but they do their best. Love the atmosphere and the people.

Been reaching out regarding my deposit from a birthday party Oct. 2022. Got the run around, stating my deposit was lost in the mail & still have yet to receive it. Been emailing and NO Response.

It's open to the public for lunch m-f, 11-2pm, Friday night Dinners only $10. Excellent food. Full bar, friendly atmosphere. Not a fast food but a sit down and enjoy with friends kind of place.

I was there last night and had a Patty Melt w fries. It was absolutely delicious! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Ladies room was spotless. Reasonably priced and bartenders were great!

Post 8696 is an amazing post. All the staff and the members included from the VFW and American Legion were very friendly. Would highly recommend any past or present service member to put that on there to do list and go to location

Wanting a quick after dinner cocktail one evening was a nice reason to visit. Very nice crew running the bar. Good prices. Looks like a new menu is coming with lots of variety. Big ballroom for events, clean bathrooms.

Went to a car show there and dinner. It was a good time. They were getting bad reviews on their food previously but I thought it was good. A few of our burgers weren't quite done but we just need to ask for well done next time. Had breakfast there last week at a car show and the omelets were very good. Three service was good too.

Nobody does less for veterans at this veteran themed bar and grill. Illegal gambling machines paying out people, under the table workers like Rebecca Robbins and Mary McDermott, and just rude staff and patrons make this place somewhere to avoid! They have sheisty business practices and are always looking to screw over anyone they do business with unless you're the commanders wife or on the house comittee
