I came here for Valentine’s Day. Via Sophia had a special menu for Valentine’s worth $69 per person plus tax, tips, and drinks. Food was really well thought out and very tasty, and the drinks were amazing. Service was very poor. The portions were very small. All attendees left hungry and not filled with the portions of the plates, even though it was four courses. When we mentioned this to the host who came by our table at the end, they made an out of touch and inappropriate joke and didn’t really acknowledge the fact that we were giving feedback about the experience. During one of the courses, a plate was confused between our table and another table, and the waitress changed the plates that were already served on both tables. I didn’t appreciate or liked that as I don’t know what happened to that plate while it was on the other table. Moreover, some of the cutlery was badly washed and had to return it for it to be exchanged. Shortly after, we received the desserts and immediately were given the check, which I thought was rude as we haven’t even started to eat and the restaurant wasn’t closing at any time soon. Jan 9, 2024 Our first dining experience at Via Sophia was amazing. The hosts promptly sat us at our designated table and took care of our Coats making us feel like we were VIPs. The restaurant's stylish decor and ambient lighting contributed greatly to an enjoyable dining experience. The Marguerita pizza was so savory with a perfectly crispy crust, topped with rich tomato sauce, gooey melted mozzarella, and basil creating a mouthwatering blend of flavors. The Red Wine Rigatoni and the Tagliatelle tasted freshly made. Each bite delivered a perfect balance of meat and saucy savory goodness. The Cinnamon Nutmeg Old Fashion delivered that timeless flavor with a nice twist. The flavors were sophisticated and delicious. The restaurant's Sommelier Thomas helped us choose a bottle of Lunaria Ancestrale Brut Pinot Grigio which complemented dinner so perfectly. He kept our glasses full during dinner, Yum! The Tartufo and Zeppole desserts added a decadent and final touch to the meal. We were so impressed and would rate this restaurant 10 stars if we could. We can't wait to go back! Had a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner at Via Sophia. On this night, they only were doing their prix fixe menu (I believe). It was four courses for $69, which I thought was pretty good. The ambiance was beautiful yet simple. The staff were nice and the service was good. Wasn’t big fan of the ahi tuna (this was my first time ever having ahi tuna). It just wasn’t for me. The truffle risotto and shortrib tortellini was SOOOOO GOOD! Literally a 10/10. We wished the portions were bigger because it was that delicious. I’d definitely come back for those. The NY strip and halibut were good but didn’t wow us. For dessert, we tried the budino and tiramisu. The budino was good but the tiramisu was absolutely delicious. I came here for my birthday and this place did not disappoint at all! I was so satisfied with the gnocchi and my friend had capriellie. The portions were appropriate (I was extremely full). Special mention to our server, Duc, who was honestly the highlight of the experience. He cared about us and made sure I had a free cake to celebrate my birthday. He was so wonderful. Went for late lunch/happy hour around 3pm. Food was very good, fresh and came out hot, portions were great for the price. Chicken wings excellent, friend gnocchi very good, and buratta was good. Wasn’t super happy with the service. They kind of forgot about me though. I had to waive down the server after waiting 7-10 minutes. But I think the GM was there and didn’t really do much but stand and chat. Not 100% it was the GM but it was someone who worked there and I got supervisor vibes. Also, server dragged feet when moving around which I found a tad bothersome.

Unfortunately they were out of a lot of drink options on a Monday evening. Service was great though, she was very accommodating and tried her best to sort these issues out. Beautiful surroundings and delicious food! Karolina served my drinks at the bar. Very professional atmosphere at the bar thanks to her. She was very accommodating. The manager, Thomas, made sure all my needs were met and he came personally to introduce himself. He made sure I was happy. I got a nice table outside and my waiter, Deshawn made sure my food was exceptional and served in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. Service was fast and friendly. They didn’t linger too long but stopped by often to check on us. The food was presented nicely and my friend really enjoyed her dish. I found my entree to be lacking flavor but it was the first time I had tried that kind of dish, so maybe that was par for the course. I have nothing to compare it to. The pasta was cooked perfectly! I wish there was a negative star because our experience truly was horrible! We had to find the hostess once we found her it seemed that we were a bother. She refused to seat us at a table, and when asked for the second time, due to a friend having knee issues she rolled her eyes and asked us to speak to the bartender. She was very busy chatting with a young man …. That may have been better done after work hours ! This young lady of Latin descent was super rude. I called the restaurant to speak to general manager sadly he was too busy to come to the phone and I ended up speaking to probably a waiter !
