As a family that had owned a restaurant for over 20 years in the past, we were immediately impressed by the quality of the food, the services that was provided, and the ability for this establishment to have taken us back to our roots! It's hard to find old fashion craftsmanship in food and dishes that bring us back to the country! We've been first generation immigrants that have been here since the 80's and have yet to have such a nostalgic bite till experiencing VN Pho for the first time yesterday. Thank you for giving us a taste of home. Will be telling friends and family about your restaurant to ensure you stay with us for as long as you can! If you love truly authentic Vietnamese food like grandma used to make, you will NOT be disappointed coming! We bought 5 dishes and ate family style without breaking the bank, which is near impossible in this day and age. When I say RUN as fast as you can to grab a bite, I mean it! After a long day of driving, pho at this place really hit the spot especially on a rainy day! Being from the Bay Area in California, where there are many pho restaurants, this place was legit and we enjoyed the pho and the spring rolls very much. They even gave us some jello afterwards. Food was good and fresh ingredients. They need to rework the wontons though...the wrapper just disintegrated into the soup. We got the tofu spring rolls as appetizer because it was an order of 2 so very easy to split they were great and the restaurant did excellent presentation too even brought out extra minced veggies for the filling too and our dinners were great too and just the right amount and we got a milk tea boba that was so yummy and authentic definitely going to go back there another time. Oh and they have a TV in the corner of back wall with images of people in Vietnam shopping and it was cool how they had that for us to really get a flowed environment to the restaurant. I absolutely love this unassuming little spot in a strip mall in West Hartford. I have eaten here weekly for six months (I work nearby) and it never disappoints. The meals are always fresh, delicious, and served quickly, which matters to me when I am on lunch break. You can never go wrong with their pho, but I also love their rice dishes, and their iced coffee is the best around. We heard about this place and thought we would try it out. We normally would head to Vernon for a pho restaurant that is outstanding. But yesterday we ordered take out from VN Pho. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered quite a lot of food. We will not be ordering there again. We got home with the food, and the chicken with rice dish when opened looked great. However when trying the chicken, it was very dark underneath the skin - and actual the meat inside looked like it was turning another color that was not too pleasing. My daughter ordered the beef pho. The veggies and the noodle seemed fine. However the beef had some pretty fatty parts, and the beef also had a tint of grey color to it for some parts. She ate some of it and became nauseas. It is now morning and she is still not feeling well. I ordered the vegetable pho which came with tofu, so I did not order any meat with my order and It tasted fine. I would just suggest when ordering take out, check the meat before heading out the door. With our experience it was not fresh. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is my second time at VN Pho and I think this will be my new favorite lunch spot! The customer service was wonderful. The people who took my order and brought out my food were super sweet and kind. Not only was the service nice but they bring out your food so quickly!! It’s perfect for people who work in the area that need to get back to work afterwards. Today I tried the Nam Neong spring rolls which were delicious and filling on it’s own. It has a great crunch from the egg roll skin. I also tried their special which is found in lots of Vietnamese restaurants. I ordered the mango fruit tea as my drink and it was refreshing sweet drink!
