Great place to stop for a late night hunger or in our case, arriving in late for a campus visit. Food was quick and the waitress was very friendly. We got waffles, an extra plate thrown in we didn't even ask for, eggs, and grits! Gotta have grits in Alabama. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My first Waffle House experience and it was fantastic! For starters, not only was the staff very friendly for an early Saturday morning, but they were all very polite as well. We sat down and ordered quickly, and our server was on top of everything. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything tasted great. I also paid attention to how friendly the staff was with the cool while they submitted orders and waited for their orders to go out. There was no shouting, they were polite, they weren't in each other's way and they were working quickly and efficiently. The cashier was sweet and friendly, and everyone thanked us as we left. I'm sure this restaurant gets very busy during the year, as they are on The Strip in Tuscaloosa, but I'm sure they're just as quick, efficient and awesome then as they were on an early Saturday morning. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Tuscaloosa, and hopefully all other Waffle Houses deliver the same experience as this one did. Here at Waffle House they won’t let anyone In but they have friends/family Inside eating. I’m so sick of coming to this trash place and can never even get my order took. This Is the last time for me!! What’s the point of having a restaurant and not even let people eat.

This the most nastiest Waffle House I’ve ever been in!!!!!! Workers played around until I said why my food isn’t being cooked!!! I’ll never come here again!!! Cook was outside across the streeet…. There’s no way it should of been this filthy at 6am

Excellent staff and food. Clean and a nice layout compared to the standard highway-adjacent Waffle House. We went late-night on a weekday and the team was working hard taking orders and on the grill. They really need more than two people on staff at night! When we were there they had about 6 full tables and the team was behind but doing they're best. Hopefully they can add to their staff so the team isn't having to handle this work load with only two people. Meal type Other Price per person $10–20

Giving a one star on management not food or service. It’s a Monday night at 1am. I was served by Cameron. Such a sweet hard working employee! They have him working by himself. Every table filled. He’s taking orders, cleaning tables and doing payment. His management has FAILED HIM!!! Ridiculous! Management should be here helping. That’s what happens when people call out. No reason this man should be waiting on ALL OF THESE PEOPLE WITH A SMILE! DO BETTER WAFFLE HOUSE! TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES BETTER!

This Waffle House is nice and generally pretty calm. The food was good and came out within a reasonable amount of time. The furniture and menus were a little sticky, but that's to be expected of any Waffle House honestly. As with most places in downtown Tuscaloosa or anywhere near campus, avoid this one on game day or Friday nights, its sure to be packed to the brim with students Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Game day may not have been the best day to visit. The 2 guys doing the cooking were awesome and I'm amazed the kept things moving and surprisingly no mistakes. Service though was a chaotic. Food was OK, it was my first time at a Waffle house and I was expecting better. This place is super noisy when full.

I had the best experience here this morning! Food was fresh and very quick, coffee was hot and delicious, and the water was actually great (if you know you know). Brianna is the BEST and most attentive server ever!! Go see her and give her a big tip!
