A true hidden gem in Chiayi. The food is mostly the standard breakfast fare - with a few items like the bao buns and honey mustard chicken that buck the trend of breakfast places in Taiwan. The food itself was good, well prepared, simple, and delicious. But what sets this place apart is everything else. Super tidy restaurant, comfortable and stylish seating, air conditioned. The plates are mock cast iron pans, the condiments and cutlery are neatly arranged, and the service is both fast and friendly. And all that for the same price you get at a value vendor in Taipei. Highly recommended if you’re anywhere near this area of Chiayi. Also probably the best breakfast milk tea I’ve had of about 30 breakfast restaurants so far across the country.
