I am appalled I have to give this review I've ordered many cake from here but today was my last time picked up my daughter's beautiful bday cake,b4 leaving I asked for a top I was told it would mess up the cake I then asked for plastic wrap & was also denied for same reason..in my many yrs I have never walked out a bakery with an open box never the less would be allowed to walk out a bakery with a open box..I would expect the head bakery or any of the othe 8 ppl at this bakery to figure out how to box this cake & not let a customer walk out with a open cake in the outside elements exposing it to all types of bacteria..I took the cake stopped at my aunts house a few minutes away n wrapped it myself.. AN EXPERIENCED BAKERY WOULD HAVE NEVER LET A CUSTOMER WALK OUT WITH A OPEN CAKE EVEN MORE SO WOULD HAVE FIGUED OUT HOW TO BOX THE CAKE WITH IN 2 WKS OF ORDERING.. I may not be a bakery but I damn sure know that I should have not been able to walk out of this store with an open cake.... below you can see the open cake in my car I also added the pics of how I wrapped it Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Opened in 1919 this family owned bakery in Dresher is legit. These folks know their way around a kitchen and the baked goods prove it. We had one of their Carrot Cakes a couple months ago at a friend's house. It was pretty darn good. I found myself in the area today and made a quick detour to check it out. We picked up the much raved about Butter Cake and it is a bit addictive. You get a bit of a crunch from the top and the inside us oooey gooey delicious. The Cherry Crumb Danish along with all the other flavors available were old school fantastic. The last thing we tried were the classic Tea Biscuits. This may be the closest I've ever gotten to the version I had in England. Perfectly baked and packed with Raisins. Slice, toast and smear with Irish butter or Lemon Curd. The bakery is cute and bigger than expected. You can see a bit behind the scenes as the staff prepares the goodies. This is the perfect family bakery that's delivering well made desserts. The place and the food reeks of nostalgia. Go check this classic out

I looked everywhere that can do a cake I requested and hoped that it tasted good. I trusted a friend who recommended me to Weinrich family own bakery and I am absolutely shocked and so pleased. They did everything I asked and came out perfect. It was everything I wanted for my bfs birthday. It tasted so good and moist. Everything was delicious. Everyone kept asking where I got the desserts from all night. I am def coming back. So excited to find a good bakery. And their pricing is more reasonable than most that I've looked at. Everyone who assisted me are so nice and patient. Love it here.

Love this bakery, they've been a staple for so many local families. The bakery is very well organized and stocked. We went in and bought a variety of cookies, cake and 2 specialty cookies for under $60. Their prices are affordable. The staff knows about all the items that are for sale. Asking them what something is they have a wonderful description to help customers decide. Definitely a place that is super efficient, quick and very kind.

This bakery was recommended to me by a friend. We went there in search of a custom cake for a baby shower around 4 o’clock yesterday. I guess the woman working cake orders had a bad day. She was rude, unfriendly and unwilling to help in any manner. Beautiful bakery but I will never step foot in there again! Thank you for responding so quickly. I just couldn’t understand why she had such an attitude. Your website had such beautiful cakes and that is what I was looking. The price did not matter. Everything looked awesome but I could not bring myself to spend a dime in there. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

There’s a reason why this place has been in business for over 100 years. The service is fantastic, the quality is exquisite, and the baked goods are delicious. We have ordered for parties and just because we are in the neighborhood and have never had a bad experience. One of my favorite stops when we come back to North Philly. Definitely come by if you are in the area.

Best bakery around, if you have never been there , you don’t know what you’re missing. I hadn’t been there in a long time, i was in the area and just had to stop in. A bought a birthday cake for a co-worker, some of the mini cinnamon buns, could not stop eating them, should have bought more of them. The staff is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I had always passed by and been curious about this place. Today I wanted to grab a nice birthday cake for my wife and had planned to go to Paris Baguette because we like their cakes. While on the way I decided to stop in and try this local family owned bakery instead. Upon entry I was showered with greetings and people offering to help me. Everyone was extremely friendly and hospitable. They were patient with me while I made my decision and even offered suggestions. I ended up leaving with a nice birthday cake, a box of macarons, birthday candles, and a cannoli to go with my coffee. I spent less than I would have on just the cake if I had gone to Paris Baguette (which I still love, this is not anti PB post). Everything was fresh and delicious. On the way out I was greeted again by the owners and they told me about the history of their family business. I worry places like this won't be around much longer so it's nice to support them. This bakery was recommended by a co-worker and his wife. And I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday, whom came home this year to visit (been three years) and he picked a carrot cake. The cake was fresh, moist and everyone complimented the cake. He said I haven’t been able to find a good carrot cake in his travels for work. I want to thank you for helping making this day special.
