It’s not often something new and different comes along in the Thousand Oaks culinary seen. West Of Orleans is just that, there are no substitutes for this genre of food. Marcus has created an authentic Southern dining experience that must be tried to believe. I ordered the Chicken Gumbo, Seafood Etouffée and the Black Eyed Peas. The seafood was the true star of my meal, the shrimp was plump and fresh. The flavors took me back to my childhood eating my grandmother’s Southern cooking. The next time I’m in I will be trying other options on the menu. Do not hesitate, get there now and I promise you will not be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
