Some of the best bread around! The employees here are always so kind and considerate. I had my cat with me today after a vet visit so I couldn’t go into the shop, but they were willing to do the transaction outside, so I still got my delicious sourdough bread!
great customer service!!! guy working at the counter let us know that their balsamic is real balsamic, straight from Italy - tried some and it was absolutely incredible. also, apparently all their bread is driven in straight from the bakery in Maine, every morning. fresh as it gets.
The donuts here on Saturday are AMAZING. Heads up the donuts are also huge and we could have easily split one. The staff were really friendly and helpful when it came to picking out two donuts - all the choices looked amazing! We will be back!
I always try to stop in for their sourdough special on Wednesdays! I got a chocolate bread and apple cinnamon loaf to bring to visit family and they loved it. Went back and the woman working there was super nice and told me about how they deliver the fresh bread, I’ll definitely be gifting that come the holidays! Thank you so much!
Huge variety of creative breads, donuts, jam, and olive oil for sale by the vat. Check out the photos to get a better idea of their offerings. Reasonably priced.
The bread itself is great, but I had the worst customer service in my life. I asked to slice the loaf and put it in two bags as I wanted to freeze one half so it wouldn't go bad while I am eating the other half. The sales women refused to do that citing "there is too much plastic in the ocean". After I asked again several times, she did agree to put the loaf in two bags but the entire time she was slicing it, she was shaking her head, sighing, and saying "oh our earth, our poor earth". I mean, I get the environmental concerns, but is it really better if I throw away half of the loaf? Is it really appropriate to bring your personal beliefs (as good as they might be) to a workplace and openly express your utmost dissatisfaction with customers for simply asking for two bags? Never going here again, which is sad, the bread itself is great 😞

I can’t bring myself to lower your review score, but why would you replace the most delicious cookies in the greater Boston area with those awful Montilios ones? Such a shame to see them go.
