Well, that was an odd experience. The Man & I arrived about 5 minutes before they opened at 11 am. He kept making comments about the fact that there were only 2 cars in the lot and one was obviously there to eat. After the other car emptied, we went inside. It was staffed… People were cleaning off tables while others were wiping down menus. That gave me a good feeling that they are looking out for their customers. We were seated and helped right away. Our server was very courteous & quick. I think she had to be because she was the only one serving the two occupied tables. Our appy came out quick but the bites looked burned as you can see in the pic. The food came next & the food was very hot. Its hard to distinguish the flavors when the chicken is that hot. Honestly, that isn’t a complaint. I would much rather the food come out hot than cold. We got 25 bites with 5 flavors. Once it cooled off, the taste was decent. We were kept watered by the server & she made sure to keep up if we wanted something else. I would say a fault would be maybe not ask if we wanted dessert while holding our bill? I just now read the recent reviews & saw none of what was described. I couldn’t see into the kitchen from my table to advise of its state. The bathroom was clean when I went to wash my hands. No insects skuttling across the floor. I try to stay away from the Health ratings info online unless the restaurant has a low A or worse. My curiosity will not let it go. The place was empty for most of our time there. Spookily… Bottom Line~ I might go back if we are hungry & everywhere is full. There isn’t anything to set the food apart from any other sports place. As long as this place has been in Gastonia, we had never visited until they did an event for National Chicken Wing day. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and variety of flavors available. Prices were reasonable (certainly on par with similar establishments) and the portions for the price were spot on. The atmosphere was great and restaurant was very clean - almost like new. They have lots of TV options - similar to a BWW but without the incessant noise. We were sad that we have been missing out for so long. Things were a little slow but staff were very attentive. We look forward to returning and trying new flavors. There are also fun themed nights and games for entertainment. All in all a great experience. Awful. The food was so burnt. To be a chicken place they sure don't know how to cook chicken. How could a server in good conscience walk this mess out to someone is beyond me. And no that's not the seasoning/rub on the wings. There's no meat on the bone. What meat there is, it's stiff and hard as a rock.

There wasn't a hostess available for about 10 minutes. when we finally did sit down the waitress Simone was very nice and hospitable. The food wasn't ready for about 30 minutes we ordered buffalo chicken dip and it was not what we expected and it was overpriced we asked for the wings to be fried extra crispy and they were lightly fried we never received the tater tots we ordered which had to be subtracted from the check. They did have a nice special 30 wings for $20 which was very reasonable they had a DJ named DJ Ben who was doing karaoke he was lively and entertaining so they have lots of potential and we expect better next time Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Every time we come here and order an appetizer, we always get it the same time as our food. The point of an appetizer is to get it BEFORE your meal. Because when the food gets here, I need to eat that. Service sucks. You can never find a waitress when you need one. I’ve been a few times, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. So after receiving feed back from management and them sending us gift cards for free dinner my wife and I decided to give them another chance and we received the exact same treatment. My burger came out under cooked, appetizers arrived along with the food. This was our first time trying WWC, but I was very impressed. I have a gluten allergy, and although they didn’t have a gluten friendly menu, the manager went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure I found something I was able to eat. He checked ingredients on items to make sure they were safe for me, and even took the time to consider possible cross contamination to make sure that I would be ok with it. I truly appreciate his kindness and willingness to help. Our food was wonderful & We will be back again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Bartenders tonight saved my girlfriend from an onslaught of middle aged men. Definitely took care of her on the tip and her coworker. Drinks were fantastic. But the environment and people are too touchy and it’s illegal now to beat the $h!t out of someone so beware. If you go on a date here I’d advise go elsewhere because there’s no respect here. Thank you to the bartenders tonight for helping me out big time. Although the people here are out of control and can’t control their alcohol and definitely need to cut people off. Haven’t tried this place in over 3 years because then, they were never consistent. My son wanted to try so I said ok. Surely they could have improved. From time of sit down and order it took an hour to get the wings and that’s ordering at 4:22pm which wasn’t busy at all. The wings came and the celery on the plate was hotter temp than the wings, usually I don’t send stuff back but I was so hungry I figured I will still eat them or they only heat them up a little bit . The server took them and brought them back with the same temp to touch as before. Just another reminder of why I don’t come here and why I won’t recommend to anyone. If you want a bar then yeah this is probably good for that. But don’t expect good quality food or service . Oh and the basket of waffle fries that are $6.99!? Look at the pic of what you get for $6.99. Won’t be back here again. Save your money and go somewhere that takes pride in quality of food and service instead of cold beer.
