My only complaint is this bakery isn't in my home town! I've been eating gluten free for over 15 years and Wildflours is one of the best, if not the best, bakery I've ever found. Stopped by on a visit to Brunswick, to pick up a few baked goodies and ended up with a loaf of gluten free bread and various baked goodies. All crazy good. Just wish Wildflours was in my town here in Connecticut so I could get their great goods weekly.
Absolutely A M A Z I N G . . ! ! For years my sister has had medical and dietary issues. Come to find out one thing she can no longer have is dairy. This means cake and ice cream, two things she L O V E S . . ! ! But for years she has not been able to eat them unless they were home made ended up looking like they were dug up in the back yard and didn't taste very good. With her birthday coming up i wanted to get her a cake. She has already found ice cream she can eat and loves. Good 'ol ben and jerry netflix and chill. So i wanted to find a cake that she would love just as much. An Wildflours I S the place that made just that cake. My sister absolutely L O V E D it so much i was lucky to have bought two knowing the peanut-butter and chocolate one she would want all for her self. She about died from how great it was at first bite. For a smaller cake it is on the pricy side, but you Don't eat cake every day. Plus it was absolutely so amazing that this is the only place we will be buying cakes from in the future. Well worth the price to allow my sister after 8 years to have cake that actually taste good and does not send her to the ER. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $50–100

I asked for a pumpkin muffin with chocolate chips, but I had gone to pick up a quiche. There were no quiches out on display, so, I asked if they had any. They all acted a little confused but then looked in the oven and said yes and named off the flavors. I chose tomato and cheddar. She took it out wearing no gloves or mitts, her thumb touching the egg part of the quiche. Then she put the quiche in the bag on top of the muffin sideways without any sort of wrapping or cover. When I arrived at my destination to eat the quiche I cut into it and it was not even close to done. The middle was like pudding. I had to bake it for 30 minutes before I could eat it. The crust was unremarkable, it tasted like flour and water and the quiche was alright but didn’t ever quite firm up. The muffin was huge and very good, but the quiche experience was disappointing.

A gem. Delicious muffins. Chill staff. Encountering a gluten free bakery on the east coast in a small town is a bit like finding an oasis in the middle of the desert. So glad they are here!
Their bread is absolutely phenomenal and brought so much happiness to my gluten-less heart. I have celiac and am quite lactose intolerant among other stomach issues. I found out it has no dairy either! I had no issues after having it! So happy! Best gluten-free bread I have had yet, and that is after being a regular consumer at other completely gluten-free bakeries. The bread is soft and has a beautiful crust. Stayed soft after several days! They even have coffee ice cubes if you want an iced coffee! Or even get milk to go with your delicious baked goods. The staff is so so friendly and was very patient with all my questions. Only good things to say. Did I mention the bread?

Just made a delivery to Wildflours and was graciously thanked with a Peanut Butter Chocolate Krispies Bar and a Pistachio Orange Scone. Now, I'm not typically a gluten free sort of fella. These baked goods were absolutely delectable. The scone was just the right combination of crumbly and dense. Loved that there was a healthy amount of pistachios. The bar was an explosion of flavor. The richness of the chocolate came through remarkably well. A+ bakery. Hopefully the driver whose route I am covering today takes another vacation soon so I can pop in again.

We popped in looking for anything gluten free with blueberries, because my husband has been eating amazing desserts that I've had to look at but not taste. We came later in the day, but I snagged an AMAZING piece of blueberry cheesecake, and an oat bar for later. Everything looked tasty, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Deliciousness!
I hate to give completely negative reviews but.... I purchased a vegan cupcake which was an ordinary small item. It was not edible because it was so dry. The frosting was ok but for 4.50 I expect a super delicious, moist, tender cake with filling and incredible frosting. I could put them out of business if I had a chance to sell my own and I am not a trained baker. I also purchased a tiny little portion of buffalo cauliflower which was soggy. It was maybe a 1/2 cup portion and can with a little sauce cup for 9 dollars. It also went uneaten. Come on people do better! Your ingredients are flower, sugar, and vegetables. Dirt cheap! Give someone something to eat and learn how to make vegan cupcakes! While I'm at it, I have purchased vegan cupcakes from there other location with the same disappointment. How the heck does a successful bakery not have the ability to make a suitable cupcake? They do so many other items so well! I read your answer. I am not confused. LOl. I was there a few weeks ago and it was 13 and change for the two items. The other location is Wild Oats Bakery since you want to try to negate what I am saying, I will just go ahead and put that name out there too. Learn to take criticism and improve your skills!

Last year I called to place an order. The lady I talked to said she'd call me back and hung up on me. This year I decided to give them another chance and attempted to order a birthday cake for SIX days out. They said they needed a week's notice and couldn't take my order. Incredibly frustrating! Their cakes may be great. But they've lost me as a customer.

Being someone with celiac disease, I always appreciate finding a gluten free bakery. Unfortunately, the gluten free food at Wildflours is quite disappointing. To be fair, I did not purchase any of their bread, but all three items I purchased were not up to snuff. The crust of the quiche is best described as dust mixed with water that immediately dissolves into glop in your mouth. I would have expected a bakery that specializes in being gluten free to have their gluten free pie crusts down pat. Sadly, the lemon bar I had was also crummy, with the lemon curd having an unappetizing grainy texture. It was expensive and disappointing and unfortunately I can't recommend this place.
