Drinks are unique, staff are friendly and there’s a vibrant atmosphere. The food menu is light and tasty. Always love coming here to play board games with friends over a few well crafted cocktails.

Probably awesome if you have a lot of money and like fancy cocktails.
$40 for 2 margaritas that includes 3 ingredients is not the place for me. Tiny, crowded, tables all sticky. Lights above the little tables are like heat lamps.

An eclectic bar that caters to every genre. Excellent staff and great service all provided in a safe and friendly environment.. on our list of our go to bars every night out in town.

Absolutely charming little bar with a friendly, cozy, unique atmosphere. Definitely recommend their cocktails (Mai tai is the one pictured)

A funky bar with a social conscience, Woof is a great place to drink a beer and read a book. or to meet with friends for a drink. Or come alone and chat with some friendly strangers.

I tried sitting up at the bar when the owner stormed across towards me. He started asking me for some kind of papers, I couldn’t really tell what he was saying because he has this really high-pitched voice and was sort of screaming. Anyway he’s getting visibly red in the face, and I let out a small laugh of surprise. Big mistake.
He starts grabbing at me and telling me to get out, but every time he tries to yank me off the chair the fabric of my clothing slips through his fingers. I asked him “What are you doing?” but before I realized his grip strength was just really poor, his pinky fingers snapped. He howls on the floor in pain, and I can see he’s crying now. I say “I’m sorry man, I’m going to head out, have a good day.” but he’s cussing, calling me a chud and trying to spit on my shoes. He says it’s my fault and he’s gonna sue me.
I wouldn’t normally share this but as he said he’s planning on suing me; while I was stepping over him on my way to the door, I noticed a big puddle forming around his trousers. I just don’t want him to say I somehow did that to him as well.
I wish the staff the very best but unfortunately I cannot recommend this location to anyone, as my experience was very poor.

An awesome busy place. Marvelous decor, great friendly staff and the music soundtracks playing are fabulous.
I would recommend this place to everyone. And while you can walk in and be seated I recommend reserving a table in advance as it's a busy pumping bar/restaurant.

Absolutely spectacular spot. Fab cocktails and even more Fab staff. The Levosh is not to be missed, how something so simple can be such a tasty snack is beyond me. Will definitely return next time we’re in Dunedin.

Always an enjoyable experience at Woof! Good to see staff take Covid seriously, with masks, table service and checking vaccine passes. The music and atmosphere is great. We enjoyed the fries for $10 which is great nibble food with our drinks. Drinks are a little pricey ($9-16) and there could be more choice of tap beers, particularly lagers and Weiss biers (it's all about ales these days). There is one Zeffer cider on tap which is nice. Would always go again while visiting Dunedin.
