Very nice hot chocolate and coffee but it took a while. It was absolutely pouring outside and there were quite a lot of people coming past, as it was between Xmas and New Year. I was very surprised that they said the kitchen was closed,as it was about 1pm and they lost so much business and turned away quite a few people. The food in the cabinet didn't look exciting and menu looked much better. It's hard to imagine turning away people in these economic times , especially in Te Kuiti. Sadly, the guy who served us was just plain down right grumpy with no hospitality skills at all. What's wrong with faking it till he made it and pretended he liked the customer. Some training would be helpful?. However, one doesn't know what might be going on for him. The lady, however, was pleasant. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
