The experience as a whole was wonderful! The chef was fantastic and extremely personable. The MAJOR problem is the hidden fees. There were four of us and after enjoying the fabulous meal, we discovered that we EACH had a $45 gratuity charge for the service of the chef cooking in our presence. It ended up not being a problem for us to pay. However, it could be a problem for others "counting their pennies." It wasn't appreciated though. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Food was absolutely delicious, filling and appetizing. The service was quick for us but I believe it was a weekday so more quiet. The place is huge with a sushi bar and dining area. Great energy going around. It is a bit more on the pricy side but worth it for a date night. Gratuity is automatically charged. Ate here earlier. Was seated promptly. Customer service was excellent, absolutely no complaints there. The one star is for food. I ordered the Chicken and Salmon hibachi. The grilled chicken cubes were dry and hard. Salmon was so so. The "noodles" seemed to be cooked with butter. Fried rice was fried alright, but bland in taste and seasoning. I can't speak for the other menu items and was looking for the elusive "it tastes great" comment that all the other guests experienced. My youngest had a bowl of chicken fried rice as well, which was also bland and tasteless. This is not my first visit to a Wu's. I visited the Evergreen location two years ago for a friend's birthday party and although the cooking theatrics were quite a sight to behold and entertaining, the food was so so. I thought it was a one off, but tasting it again at a different location shows otherwise. I feel Benihana's chefs actually know how to season their food properly vs just cooking it, and it looks aesthetically appetizing to eat but actually eating it is an another matter. This will most likely be my last Wu's visit as everyone was charged an 18% service charge fee, large party or not. The manager was nice enough to remove the blank fried rice from my bill, but it was still $100, including service charge fee for so so food.
