My daughter picked this place for 10th birthday. They have a wide selection of all different types of sushi. Their menu is on the wall and full of pictures and an easy to understand description of what is in their dishes. The staff was helpful in explaining things for first timers like us. We ordered to go. The inside atmosphere was mom and pop-ish in all the good ways. Nothing fancy but pleasant. They have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor, but we did not stay to eat. Sadly I have to rate this low. I have loved this place for so long. But the food wasn't good. We got home and had the wrong rolls. Went back to get the right order. The sushi had a fishy smell, which is concerning when it comes to sushi. They were slightly slimy and it just wasn't what it use to be. This place is to give you great food at a good price. I love this place. It's my favorite sushi place. I live in Vacaville, and I put my order online and pickup my order in store. I got home, and I was missing an item in my order. I was missing the Tuna Tataki appetizer. I called the store and I was put on hold by the guy who answered the phone. He came back on 3 minutes later to tell me that apparently, they didn't put one of my items in. He said I can come back for it or get store credit. I'm already home and it's raining. I'm not going to come back for one item. I asked if I can get a refund back in my card and he said yeah then hung up. He didn't apologize for missing an item in my order, and no confirmation of the refund. The food was okay. It looked like it was ready for at least 10 minutes, and I was already 10 minutes early on my pickup time. They weren't busy. They had one car in the parking lot. The least you can do is apologize. I just got finished waiting 45 minutes for my food as I watch them packing my part of my order in other to go orders I was told it was goingna be 25 minutes and it ended up being almost an hour period you think they would accompany some kind of little roll a 5 or $6 roll they didn't cough me anything all they said is I'm sorry and had me waiting all that time so yeah one star for their incompetence today and we've been going here years. They completely messed up the order. we got a combo They gave us 1 shrimp 1 string bean, one slice carrot 1 slice yam 1 piece of broccoli for $13.99. My daughter is allergic to seafood and they put that seafood sushi and the other sushi in the same container. This place is horrible under pressure when there is a crowd. Holy smokes. This peace was ridiculously cheap for the amount you are receiving. It usually takes two rolls to from me up, but this took only one. The sizes of the rolls are huge and amazing. Definitely coming here again to try other rolls they have here. Also large selection of food/rolls.

I don't have any stars for this business. It used to be phenomena,l service quick, food delicious. I went today, not busy at all. I ordered what I thought would be a quick California Roll I paid in cash waited 10 minutes and went to check on my order, they hadn't started making it yet, I asked for a refund as I couldn't wait any longer when given back my refund the cashier told me she didn't have any change to give me back I asked her what happened to the change I had just given her she replied she gave it to someone else.... So I left 15 min later with no food and shorted 54 cents. Unbelievable
