Love this place! Local flavor but a little taste of home. Great service, food is great- try the tortilla soup! Love the live music on weekends and the playlist during the week is spot on. Cold beer and owners are super friendly and welcoming Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Zay's has only been in PP for about 4 months but they already have a great menu and professional friendly staff who can explain what is in everything and are happy to help you decide what you might like. There's a roomy stage for the bands and the atmosphere is going to be top notch as soon as they get more sound insulation installed. I'm looking forward to cooler weather so we can wear our cowboy hats and boots and dance to country western music. As far as I know, the owners Laura and Chris found a niche that hasn't been explored here yet. I wish them the best of luck! Stopped in for a drink on the way back from the beach - awesome service and great drinks from this brand-spanking-new place. Imbibed so fast the photo was an afterthought! Top floor was still being built out with a mechanical bull - will be back to ride that thing.

The crunch wrap is literally life changing!! The staff was super attentive and nice. The manager (owner?) even came over and checked up on us. he food came out super fast and was soooo tasty. Zays is a fun local bar where you can meet your neighbor, have a meal and a few drinks, and often times hear live music! The owner, Laura greets everyone with open arms and works very hard to be sure everyone is happy. Be sure to stop by and have a drink and support local Peñasco places! What a fun place! Totally different then anything else we’ve been to in Penasco. Food, drinks, live music …. All awesome! Can’t wait til the weather is better and I can enjoy the roof top. They said they have live music up there when it’s not so hot. Can’t wait to check that part. We went multiple times this trip. We will definitely be back!
